Our Story: The Upper Tanana Imagination Library is a free early childhood literacy program. Tok Community Clinic, Inc. is the local fiscal agent. Each month an age-appropriate book is mailed to enrolled children in our community who are under 5 years of age. The program began in 2009 as the Tok/Tanacross Imagination Library. It has since expanded to other area villages to now include more than 100 children in the Upper Tanana valley. The Imagination Library also hosts family engagement events including partnering with the Tok Library for monthly summer reading activities.

To enroll your child: All children under the age of five living in the villages of Tok, Tanacross, Eagle, Northway, Tetlin, Mentasta, Dot Lake, and Border are eligible for this free program. Download the paper enrollment form or register online here.
