The Nome Imagination Library provides one free book every month to each child in Nome from birth to age 5. The book is mailed directly to your family’s post office box … all you need to do is register.

Nome Imagination is supported by Nome Public Schools, Nome Literacy Association, and Best Beginnings. Our funding comes from the generous donations of: Wells Fargo, Nome Rotary, NSEDC, and many individuals.

To enroll your child or enter a change of address: Download registration brochure, pick one up at Norton Sound Public Health or the Kegoayah Kozga Public Library, or via email to Joleen Oleson at or 443-5299.

Your gift to our community Imagination Library will help build early language and literacy skills and inspire a love of reading that will last a lifetime! A $30 donation will enable a child to receive a brand-new, age-appropriate book in the mail once a month for one year. With $150, you will enhance the life five children for one year.
