Alaska Storytimes
Organized storytimes and other children's events provide a wonderful opportunity for young children and their families to have fun together.
Most Alaska Public Libraries offer storytimes and related activities for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. These events can introduce early literacy skills to young children while offering parents a great opportunity for enhancing their own skills for reading aloud.
If there is not a public library in your community, check with the school library to see if they have family library activities.
