Best Beginnings and Channel 2 Early Learning Campaign
Beginning December 2008, we partnered with KTUU Channel 2 for a six-week campaign to promote early learning and literacy through specially created TV spots and selected children's.
The TV spots demonstrated the importance of parents and family having positive daily interactions with their young children from the day they are born. Through singing, talking, playing, and reading with family members, young children's brains grow and develop. These important moments create the base for children to begin school ready to succeed. Eleven quality children's books were highlighted during the campaign.
