With the financial support of the Rasmuson Foundation, Alaska Dept of Education & Early Development, and The Children's Hospital at Providence, along with partners such as Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC); Best Beginnings is helping communities around Alaska create or expand Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in their areas.


Participating Communities

In 2012, new Alaska communities will be joining the Imagination Library roster. Learn more about how we can expand Imagination Library in Alaska, including how to organize an Imagination Library in your community.


Support Alaska's Imagination Library

A donation of $30 will enable a child to receive a brand-new, age-appropriate book in the mail once a month for one year. With $150, you will enhance the life of a child from birth until age 5 – or five children for one year. To designate your donation to a specific location, click on the appropriate community page from the list above. We welcome any amount.
