With the financial support of the Rasmuson Foundation, Alaska Dept of Education & Early Development, and The Children's Hospital at Providence, along with partners such as Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC); Best Beginnings is helping communities around Alaska create or expand Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in their areas.

In 2011, new Alaska communities will be joining the Imagination Library roster under a round of grants funded by DEED and the Rasmuson Foundation.

Support Alaska's Imagination Library
A donation of $30 will enable a child to receive a brand-new, age-appropriate book in the mail once a month for one year. With $150, you will enhance the life of a child from birth until age 5 – or five children for one year. To designate your donation to a specific location, click on the appropriate community page from the list above. We welcome any amount.
