Early Learning Council

The Early Learning Council acts as the governing body for Best Beginnings. The council was established in 2006 to oversee implementation of Alaska's Ready to Read, Ready to Learn Task Force recommendations. Its members include former task force members and others who are committed and passionate about ensuring all Alaska children begin school ready to succeed. Members are elected by the council to three-year terms.
