Local Programs & Events
All over Alaska, organized programs, storytimes, and other children's events provide a wonderful opportunity for young children and their families to have fun together and for children to grow and develop.
Some are programs with a specific focus, some require enrollment, others operate on a drop-in basis. Some are open to the whole family, and some are for young children in an educational setting. Several are pilot projects testing whether their unique concepts are successful and can be replicated in other communities.
Events for young children are organized in many Alaska communities throughout the year. Please email us with information on events you would like to promote.
